Vatican Ambassador Supports The Usage Of The Word Allah, What Say PAS?

After a few days since the Vatican Ambassador Joseph Marino came to Malaysia, he made a few statements regarding the usage of the word Allah by Christian in this country.

A lot of people have given their thoughts about the matter and most of them condemned the Vatican for trying to meddle with our religious affairs.

Even so, all the statements condemning the priest has no substance, as there are no comments made by the political parties that supposedly is fighting for Islam, namely PAS.

Comments made by PAS are important as this particular case is unique in its own way. As the name PAS refers to the Pan Islamic Party of Malaysia, their official stand is questionable, but affiliating themselves with the Pakatan Rakyat where PAS is one of the component parties, they support the moves made by the Catholics on this matter.

It is hard to understand PAS’s real stand on this particular issue. It seems like half of them supports the move initiated by the Malaysian Catholic Church, while other do not support the action.

The uniqueness in this particular case is that PAS is too obnoxious to make any statement that is waited by many Malaysians.

However, this is crucial in the battle of Kuala Besut where the opposition has nothing against the government. Then it is that why PAS must state their stand in this important issue.

We noticed that during the Kuala Besut by-election, PAS is trying very hard not to show that they are not associated with the Pakatan Rakyat, but they can deny it all they want, but they cannot deny the fact that Pakatan Rakyat has been embedded in their image permanently.

Like the ocean and the shore.

Before it’s too late we urge PAS to state out their stand whether to support or reject the statement made by the Vatican Ambassador.

We hope that they will not give an excuse to the people by saying that they are too buzy with the campaign. PAS must lead on the charge in protecting the faith and compassion of the Muslim population in this country.
